Knowing that feet are confined inside shoes for several hours in a row, with ankles exposed to all the unforeseen events that happen well below the central movement of the bike, Assos has decided to take matters into their own hands. They present the TRAIL socks that tackle the problem with an elastic cuff 18 cm high made with yarns that contain strong and abrasion-resistant fibers.
Besides being extremely durable, the shieldKnit yarn is very soft and highly breathable, making it ideal for the toe and heel areas. We then focused on the arch of the foot, wrapping it with a slightly compressive strip to ensure additional support and increase breathability.

• Seamless structure: free of exposed seams, this 160-needle structure wraps the foot to provide ultimate friction-free comfort.
• shieldKnit: a durable blend of yarns made from PTFE fiber, an abrasion-resistant polymer. Placed on the sections corresponding to the elastic cuff, heel, and toes.
